Camping at The Boe Rigg

Its been closed for a few years but 2017 sees The Boe Rigg site open again.

Now with new management work is underway to return the site with a few additions.  In a rush to get on with opening we will be using the shower and toilet blocks in the main building this year and hopefully adding an external block during the winter ready for the 2018 season. We're  adding a new pot wash facility, all pitches have electric hook up facility and a stand pipe.

The Boe Rigg camp is a little wilder and rustic compared to other sites but that's camping, what we do have that some sites twice our size don't is a superb cafe & restaurant, bar, stunning views & relaxed attitude.

Our cafe is open from 8am during the main season where you can find delicious breakfasts, hot tea & coffee and free Wi-Fi. Our lunch time menu will run from midday untill 5pm when we will also be serving lighter bites, cakes and scones etc. Evening meals will be available from 6pm and last food orders being at 9pm. The bar is open throughout  the day from midday and closes at 10pm

The Boe Rigg  is the perfect place to use as a base to discover what Northumberland has to offer. On our doorstep we have Kielder Forest & Water and renowned darkest skies in the UK. With some of the greatest UK landscapes we have areas to enjoy walking, cycling, fishing and wild life watching.

Bellingham is just two miles away where you will find a well stocked Co-op, country store, newsagents, butchers & selection of pubs & cafe's. Its a relatively easy walk along the road but has a few corners & narrow sections to watch for, definitely not recommended in darkness.
